Barclay's Bank in Tunbridge Wells Window Smashed

We are seeing reports that the window of Barclay's bank in Tunbridge Wells has been smashed.

At this moment, it is unclear whether this was an attempted robbery or some form of protest. The bank has been the target recently of protests for to apparent financial support of defence companies.

The bank branch, in the Calverley Road pedestrian area, has been cordoned off by police.

The window was smashed and red paint dumped inside the branch.

UPDATE
Police are appealing for witnesses to the events which happened at around 1:50am on Wednesday morning.
