Founders Heidi & Tracy talk about the charity and the work they do to support both those with cancer and their families.
Chris was joined by Heidi & Tracy who are the founders of Babons Cancer Support, based in Tonbridge. Babons was created in memory of their mother Jean Spickernell (called “Babon” by her grandchildren) who lost her life to cancer in 2022,
Jean was a “pocket rocket” who loved her community and always looked for ways to help others, even when she needed help herself. Babons is a cancer drop in centre to help people dealing with cancer but also to support family & friends living with someone that has cancer.
Heidi and Tracy talk through how they support families and those with cancer, raising funds and local events that help them so much in terms of publicising and funding the work they do. .
