The shopping centre in Sevenoaks has had new Asset and Property managers appointed.
Estama has been appointed as both Asset Manager and Property Manager for Blighs Meadow Shopping Centre in Sevenoaks, marking a significant step in the evolution of one of the South East’s strongest-performing retail locations. The 77,183 sq. ft open-air scheme sits at the heart of Sevenoaks town centre, ranked 7th nationally as a retail destination, and comprises 34 retail units and 14 office suites, with residential accommodation on the upper floors.
Blighs Meadow is anchored by a line-up of high-performing brands including Gail’s, Seasalt, Crew Clothing, Whistles and Cook. Estama’s dual appointment brings asset management and day-to-day operations under a single, integrated leadership structure for the first time.
The move is designed to support a clear long-term vision for the scheme: to enhance its commercial performance, strengthen tenant mix and positioning, and develop Blighs Meadow into a regional draw capable of attracting increased weekend and leisure-led footfall.
Ross Campbell, Director & Head of Asset Management at Estama, said: “Blighs Meadow has the fundamentals that asset managers look for: strong demographics, an established brand presence and a highly engaged local audience.
“Our focus now is to unlock the next stage of value by elevating its proposition and positioning the centre as a genuine regional destination.”
George Grimes, Director & Head of Property Management at Estama, added: “We are looking forward to working closely with retailers, office occupiers and stakeholders across Sevenoaks to drive performance and service standards.
“Bringing asset and property management together enables us to deliver a more joined-up, responsive and commercially aligned approach for the benefit of both occupiers and customers.”
The enhanced strategy will concentrate on improving the tenant experience, activating the public realm and identifying targeted opportunities to broaden Blighs Meadow’s appeal across retail, hospitality and leisure.
Estama will also focus on initiatives that tap into Sevenoaks’ strong visitor economy, capitalising on the town’s attractive setting and proximity to major heritage and outdoor attractions.
