Timmy's an Angel

Forward signs to bolster Tonbridge Angels front line

Tonbridge Angels are pleased to welcome, on permanent basis, Timmy Abraham, a 23 year old forward who spent last season with Boreham Wood.

Timmy spent his formative years at Charlton Athletic before moving as a 17 year-old to Fulham, from where he had loan spells at EFL clubs Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Newport County and in Scotland with Raith Rovers. At Fulham, he made five EFL Trophy appearances, scoring twice.

On his release from Fulham during the summer of 2022, he signed for League One Walsall, also spending time on loan at Oldham Athletic.

In the close season of 2023, he joined then National League Boreham Wood from where he had a loan spell with our National League South counterparts, Maidstone United.

Jay Saunders said of his signing: “Timmy is an important signing for us. We really need that competition in the forward areas and with the games we have coming up it would be hard to get through every one and I wanted another player that knows the levels. Obviously Timmy does that, he brings pace and power and, hopefully, a few goals to the squad and on top of that, he has fitted in really well with the lads, so glad to have him onboard.”
