14 shop units in the Calverley Pedestrian Precinct Tunbridge Wells, have been sold. On the side opposite Royal Victoria Place, the shop units include Barclays Bank, Nationwide, and EE. The sale of numbers two to 46 Calverley Road, will see unused second floors being converted into residential apartments. There are several empty shops among the new portfolio.


Kent Police are reminding residents to be on the lookout for scammers using the NHS Covid Pass to steal personal and financial data. The scammers are using telephone, text, and emails, pretending to be from the NHS. Police are reminding everyone, that the NHS Pass will never ask for personal information, passwords, PIN numbers, or any form of payment.


Rose Hill School is marking Anti-bullying Week, by acknowledging that we are all different. The school held Odd Socks Day, to show they are all unique. The Antibullying committee at the school has additional activities planned this week to highlight bullying.


There is less than one week for local Tunbridge Wells-based businesses to apply for the government Additional Restriction Grants. Aimed at businesses who have suffered through the pandemic, applications need to be completed by next Monday.


The Community Car Service has received a donation from the Mears Group, which manages thousands of social housing homes across the country. The funds will be used to provide social inclusion events, seaside days out, and Christmas lunches.
