The hugely successful West End musical "Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story" had a 3 night run in Tunbridge Wells in October.

The production first opened in 1989 before touring the world.

It was at the Assembly Hall in Tunbridge Wells from October 16th to 18th.

AJ Jenks stars as Buddy in the show and he's been telling West Kent Radio about how much the Buddy Holly  story means to him.

AJ Jenks says "I still love singing every single one of his songs. As soon as one song finished, I get excited about doing the next one."

AJ Jenks tells how he proposed to his partner with a Buddy Holly song.

He plays multiple instruments and sings live during the performance.
