Compaid is a Kent-based charity, with a strong social ethos, rooted in the local community.  The charity supports disabled, older and disadvantaged people, helping them realise their full potential, and overcome the barriers of social, digital and economic exclusion. 

Compaid supports about 2,000 people annually, from those with physical or learning disabilities, to others with mental health or age-related conditions.  A team of skilled and dedicated volunteers help to provide digital skills training and employability support at Compaid’s fully accessible Training Centre in Paddock Wood.  Volunteers also help to provide accessible transport across the area. 

Each week over 30 volunteers help deliver the services Compaid provides and hundreds of local supporters raise and donate money to Compaid each year.  If you know somebody who might benefit, or would like to get involved as a volunteer, do take a look at the website www.compaid.org.uk or call 01892 834539.
