Love Parks Week

Love Parks Week 2021 will run from the 23rd July until the 1st August

This year, following the extra pressure that our beloved parks and green spaces have seen during the pandemic, Love Parks Week will send a rallying cry to the great British public to Love, Respect, and Protect our parks throughout the summer of 2021 and beyond.

There are dozens of parks across West Kent, both large and small.

Supported by Keep Britain Tidy, one aspect of Love Parks Week is to encourage park users to take their litter home. A campaign earlier this year showed that an increasing volume of litter is being left in our local parks and much of it not in bins.

It should be remembered, that the cost of cleaning up our local parks, comes from Council Tax and the amount spent each year is increasing due to higher volumes of litter.

Our local parks are wonderful. and let's encourage everyone to use them well
