Help Tackle Crime and Anti-social Behaviour

Use the community trigger

From Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council

The community trigger allows you to ask the Community Safety Partnership to review its response to previous reports of anti-social behaviour.

It can be used if you have reported at least three incidents of recurring anti-social behaviour within the previous six months and the reports were made within one month of happening.

You are also entitled to complain to the Local Government Ombudsman or Independent Police Complaints Commission.

We will need details of the date of each incident that you have reported, to who (name, organisation and/or Incident Reference Number – if available) and information about the anti-social behaviour incident you were reporting. You will also be asked to agree to allow your details and information about you to be shared with other agencies.

If you are acting on behalf of someone else, their consent will be needed before you can use the community trigger.
