The Rye Harvest Wine & Food Fair is set to bring the community together for a two-day celebration of the hyper-local produce from the land and sea surrounding Rye. This brand new event, dedicated to showcasing the best in local food, drink, and culture, promises to be a really good day out.

Taking place on the Rye Cricket Salts this Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of September, the fair will feature 13 local vineyards, including Gusbourne, Tillingham, Charles Palmer, and Oxney, offering attendees the chance to discover the distinctive flavours of these local, producers.

In addition to the wines, local market stalls will offer a selection of artisanal brews, premium meats, fresh vegetables, cheeses, and charcuterie from around the region.

A Weekend of World-Class Entertainment

The Rye Harvest Wine & Food Fair is not just about food and drink—it’s a fully-fledged cultural experience. The entertainment line-up is set to be a highlight of the weekend, kicking off with the English Fizz & Canapé Launch Party on Friday evening.

On Saturday night, guests can look forward to the Harvest Supper—a hyper-local culinary delight crafted by the renowned forager chef, Flavour Fred.

Sunday morning offers a Jazz Breakfast, where attendees will be treated to a locally sourced breakfast menu accompanied by a live performance from Rye Jazz Festival favourite, Kitty LaRoar. The fair will close on Sunday afternoon with a free live comedy and cooking demonstration by the brilliantly funny, award-winning comedian George Egg.

Festival is working with four charities: Hands of Hope, Rye Food Bank, Littlegate Farm and Rye Community Garden.
