The Good Ship Comedy with Tim Renkow and Ninia Benjamin

Poking fun at others is at the heart of a lot of comedy. But disability is often off-limits as a topic to lampoon. Not so for taboo-busting actor, writer and stand-up comedian Tim Renkow. In his comedy, he turns his own disability of cerebral palsy to his advantage. There are few acts more original, innovative and capable of making audience’s laugh with jokes so near the knuckle they’re essentially a punch direct to the brain. 

Meanwhile, Ninia Benjamin is one of the UK’s funniest comedians and comperes, with a wealth of television, stage and live stand-up experience. She makes frequent appearances at the Edinburgh Festival and has often been seen on our TV screens. Ninia’s TV breakthrough came as one third of BBC3’s Three Non-Blondes. From this, her talents have been showcased across all the major UK channels in a variety of roles, as a presenter, studio guest, actress and reality TV star.
