Fundraising walk of the railway line and be the first people to walk over our brand new bridge!

Between 23rd February and 2nd April, the Spa Valley Railway is undertaking one of the biggest infrastructure projects to date with the replacement of Broom Lane Bridge.

We are still fundraising to complete the project, which will be paid off for a period after the installation. We'd love to welcome you on another walk of the line and be the first people to walk over our brand new bridge!

Meet at Tunbridge Wells West from 9:00 am on Sunday, 29th March, and we will set off at 9:30 am.

This sponsored walk is shorter than the last; we will be walking to Broom Lane Bridge where you can see the new structure, hopefully walk across it, and then return on foot to Tunbridge Wells West, a distance of around 4 miles. Trains won’t be able to cross the bridge during this event as there will be no track laid.

Every penny raised from this walk will go straight towards the Broom Lane Bridge replacement, reducing the demands on our daily operations.
