Sevenoaks Christmas Lights Switch On 2025

Following the success of last year's earlier switch-on, this fun community event will be from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. The Mayor of Sevenoaks will switch on the lights in Sevenoaks High Street at 4.30 pm.

There will be lots of festive activities to keep the whole family entertained, from live entertainment, fairground rides, a Father Christmas Grotto, stalls, food and drink, as well as street entertainment.

Please note, the High Street and part of Akehurst Lane will be closed from 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon full of festive cheer. We look forward to celebrating with you as we light up Sevenoaks for Christmas!

We are running our Christmas Light competition again this year, where kids up to 11 years old design a light, with the winner's on display in town!
