A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, DUNE tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people.

…clear plot lines that accent the contemporary colonial parallels; this is a tale in which wealthy overlords battle over mineral resources in a vast sandy region that they find hostile and dangerous yet irresistibly profitable.

Some say that DUNE is science fiction for those who hate sci-fi… if that’s you, why not come along and see for yourself.

Lamberhurst Community Cinema

We are a volunteer-run Community Cinema, in the village of Lamberhurst in Kent. We show our films, monthly, in the village War Memorial Hall. We aim to show a diverse range of films and filmed events (e.g. theatre etc.) for an audience drawn from the village and surrounding areas...although we welcome everyone! Any surplus the Cinema makes goes to the War Memorial Hall to assist with ongoing maintenance and improvements.
