Denny's Fest

The festival is to help raise money for the Pickering cancer drop in center and is being hosted at a new venue this year for their 10th year anniversary. The George pub in partnership with The Forum.

The event The George hosts 12 acoustic and bands from 12-11pm along with a facepainter, games, raffle and more. 14 arrows tattoo studio who do a flash day. Tattoos at £40 each, their own barbers does £10 haircuts and st John's fish and chip bar delivery food. All proceeds go to the charity.

The event was put together in memory of Denny Rowe, Guinness World Record holder for shaving 1994 men in one hour. He passed away from lung cancer in 2013 and originally started the castle street music festival almost 30 years ago. I continue his legacy of raising over £75,000 for charity. Denny's Fest has raised over £47,000 in 9 years and we hope to hit over £50,000 this year, making over £125,000 in his name for various causes.
Denny's fest is all about bringing the community together. Local people, enjoying local products, produce and talent all in aid of a local charity.
