Decorative Living Fair

After a two-year break, the Decorative Living Fair will return to Eridge Park on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th May, 2022.  There will be lambs, and cow parsley, and horse chestnut blossom, wisteria and clematis. Hopefully, there will be sunshine but the fair is wonderful in any weather and we have covered walkways to keep visitors and exhibitors dry even when browsing the outside stands. We have around sixty exhibitors, some familiar faces and some exciting new ones. As well as the usual inspiring displays of decorative antiques for which the fair is known, we have artisan clothes, jewellery, bags, new homewares and plants.

Whether you are looking for a statement piece of antique Swedish furniture, or a tiny glazed potion pot, bundle of antique linen for sewing projects, there is something for all pockets and browsing is as much fun as shopping. In between forays to the marquees and gallery tents, you can have refreshments and lunches in the pretty café run by Hattons of Royal Tunbridge Wells or, hopefully, at café tables laid out on the lawns.

Workshops

We are delighted that Penny Edwards, Liz Jones and Karen Thomas will be running stitching workshops throughout the fair. Cristina Rebeccani (@embroiderytherapy) will be joining Caroline Zoob’s stand for a ‘Meet the Artist’ session, shopwing her exquisite botanical embroidery and selling just a few of her delicate ‘magic’ pebbles.
