Experience a day filled with joyful discoveries, unique gifts and the warm embrace of holiday cheer.
Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at our Christmas Crafters Retreat, a one-of-a-kind event where creativity and Christmas spirit collide. Join us on the 2nd December at King Charles Church Hall and experience a day filled with joyful discoveries, unique gifts and the warm embrace of holiday cheer. It’s a great opportunity to try something new, there will be taster sessions in craniosacral therapy, with the wonderful Marian (pre booking advised). Workshops with Emma Jefferys aka Action Woman looking at living well at Christmas. Also, a session with Amanda Forsey a local podcaster on calming the Christmas chaos and chat about wellness with Anita Graham proprietor of The Herbal Dispensary. Downstairs there will be a variety of stalls showcasing some of the best things Tunbridge wells has to offer from tableware to ethical skincare, some fabulous vintage finds and amazing Italian hampers.
Zoe from ‘Petals to Perfection’ will be running wreath making workshops. Zoe is a fantastically talented florist who did an amazing floral display at our flower festival to celebrate the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. She also did an innovative tree in aid of Taylor Made dreams using living lilies. Cost of wreaths £40 pp 12-2 £20 non refundable deposit.
It wouldn’t be called the crafters retreat without crafts, five years ago the KCM crafters were created who meet on the first Monday of the month in the hall. They all come from different crafting backgrounds and enjoy teaching each other different crafts and techniques. The group is open to all so please do ask if a craft intrigues you. Also feel free to bring any projects that you are struggling with, and they will be happy to see if they can help. The crafts on the day will vary in skill day and will be free but donations to the hall fund most appreciated.
Food will be provided by the King Charles cooks who are always a crowd pleaser and make delicious homemade food. The socials at King Charles wouldn’t be possible without them.
