Carols by Candlelight

The Lamberhurst Carol Service is frequently described by members of the audience as “the start of Christmas” and this year we have an excellent choir to put us in the Christmas mood, Continuum.

The programme for our ‘Carols by Candlelight” this year is full of lovely well-known pieces but particularly features “A Ceremony of Carols” by Benjamin Britten, a collection of twelve carols accompanied by a harp. You will know many of these carols, as well as many others in the programme. We have two audience carols and many others which are well-known including In dulci jubilo, There is no rose, and Jingle Bells.
