Babons Cancer Support

Babons Cancer Support is a charity that exists to come alongside the cancer community of Tonbridge, whether you are the patient, carer, family member, colleague or friend.

BABONS Cancer Support has been created in memory of
Jean Spickernell (called “Babon” by her grandchildren)
who lost her life to cancer in 2022.
Jean was a “pocket rocket” who loved her community
and always looked for ways to help others even when
she needed help herself.

Babons Cancer support has joined the Living Well Community Project at St Stephen’s Church Tonbridge. We are at Living Well every Tuesday 10.00am – 1.00pm, offering emotional support in a relaxed café style environment. Our aim is to provide a safe space for anyone in Tonbridge impacted by cancer to meet with others and talk about what’s going on for them over a cuppa. Whether you want to come for the whole time or just drop-in for a few minutes, the Babons team will be there to welcome you. We can’t take cancer away, but we can be there with you while you face the challenges it brings, so why not come and join us for a coffee?
