The Liberal Democrats declined to give a fresh interview to West Kent Radio ahead of the 2024 Borough Council election, so we look back on how the Liberal Democrat council leader, Ben Chapelard, has recently defended fines for motorists driving past the war memorial in Tunbridge Wells.  The fines have now brought in £ 1.5 million for the council, even though there's clear evidence the signs are confusing drivers.
