Volunteering
Volunteering at West Kent Radio
West Kent Radio is your local volunteer-led community radio station broadcasting to Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Southborough and surrounding villages and towns.
The station is staffed by volunteers and we are looking for new members to join the team.
Being a volunteer with us is not just about presenting a programme and you will be expected to support the station in other ways.
Our volunteers are aged from 18 to 80 and they become involved in a variety of activities to support the station, including show presentation, request collection, attending fundraising events, collecting patient requests from our local hospitals and raising our public profile.
Not everyone who joins us wants to be a presenter and we welcome applications from people who want to contribute by taking responsibility for off-air activities.
If the idea of volunteering with us appeals to you, you are aged 18 or over and you live within 20 miles of Tunbridge Wells, please complete the form below and we will be in touch.
Please note: Due to being a voluntary organisation are unable to offer work experience placements.
